Monday, April 21, 2008 "You cannot blog for years and then leave us hanging!" I promised my girl one-liners. I'll do better than that. At least tonight. When AB picked up my collection of Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakeble Horrors and took with him to the bathroom for a while, I thought to myself:"Oh, I remember that girl, she was fun, and she collected comics". I am missing her and I wonder if she is fading, reduced to one-liners, like this blog is intended to go for the next while. She is folding laundry and filling the dishwasher and putting pajamas on a little Minilla who just turned two years. She is working all day, trying to make heads and tails of her working environment, her clients, her co-workers. She is doing gardening in the weekends and falling asleep at 8 pm with a book beside her in the bed. She is trying to make ends meet in one way and another. Once in a while, Sparky turns up, like the other day at the Blond Readhead concert. Hell yeah, a concert in another town (4 hrs drive), in the middle of the week. Turning up at work with the luggage of only three hours sleep. Full of romance and inlovefeeling towards a man with a full beard. And the Spark wasn't ashamed to beg when her nefiew offered to send Persepolis in English, all the way from America the Beautiful. The books. The film trailer can be seen here. It isn't only age and tiredness keeping me from blogging. The internet has been messing with us (Christ, I just cencored this sentence ... took out the word "fucking" and replaced it with "messing") so I keep getting disconnected from the internet. This pisses me off to the degree that I'd rather not use the computer at all. Which again results in me now owing three people promised mix-tapes (mix-cd's). And I will now run to the basement for the 5th time this evening (true number) to pull the cable from the network adapter "Local Area Connection" and plug the goddamned thing again. ![]() And yes, the concert was awesome, and they have turned gray, and the encore was tired, but they were forgiven, since they gave it all are cool as hell.
