Okay, okay!

People are writing me now and asking for a blog!
There's a bit of a pressure on... It's good for me. Thank you guys.

I have fun stuff that I could be blogging about but I have to refrain as it could seriously hurt feelings of loved ones.

I really try not to, when it comes to the ones close to me, especially now when I am reminded of how many read me.
I am always writing to my own brain, blissfully unaware of readers. The commenting system and then my private mailbox is proving me wrong.
I am read.

And with this, it seems, comes a bit of responsibility.
Such as:
Preferably not writing about boyfriend unless I am adoring him (which is quite easy).
Not writing about my family, period.
Not writing about my tennant unless sure she doesn't know my blog exists.
Not writing about co-workers even though I am extremely careful not to let anyone at work find out about my blog.
Not writing about friends unless I am writing nice stuff.
Not being corny.

Which leaves nothing but brain damaged kids, politics, and the Now Playing column.
Boring. And difficult! I am so tempted and sometimes I get carried away and get all sentimental.

Well, it is maybe not so bad for you, after all, what you don't know can't hurt you.
I am the one sitting with all the stories of my colorful family. Colorful isn't the word for it.
Think Italian Mafia, Greek Drama, The Klumps, The Care Bears, The Bold and Beautiful, all mixed into one with a dash of white trash, and some sophisticated sense of humor (think Absoloutly Fabulous). No, wait a minute! Forget the Absoloutly Fabulous part, that's my sistas on Strandboulevarden.

I have a big family. We are about 40 people, just my siblings with partners and their offspring.
There is one of everything. Among those, we have:
A banker
A nurse
A psychologist
A lawyer
A computer genious

Tell me, does one need more? Imagine how well backed up one is with this support team?
My people are all quite funny and we laugh a lot. They are all kind of quirky though. It adds spice. But that is not always the best part, the dynamics are the best part.
And I can't write about any of that!

Enough. Today I went to a b-day party after playing hairdresser at my friends house. She had her hand operated on last Thursday and can't therefor wash her hair by herself. I got a vivid description of the operation.
First they took the nerves away and put them to the side...
Really, shouldn't they put people to sleep during those operations, at least to prevent them from traumatizing the rest of us with the details?

I think what happened to me today is that I realized that I love my folks for being weird in the right way. Quirky and eccentric, funny and lovable. Graceful in the farmyard way, globetrotters and cosmopolitans. Not racist, judgemental, besserwisser, egocentric, and socially inapt.

My family is fun. My friends are even more fun. Man, I could tell you some stories!!!

But I wont.
I will give you the popular colum of

Now Playing

MUM - Summer Make Good

Not their best one. The one with the Hama beads on the cover, is still their best one so far. I like it though and it serves as background music for my artwork at the moment. Which means, put the CD on, make art.

N*E*R*D - Fly or Die

Did not make me sad at all. Made me very happy indeed. I still think these guys are brilliant. I love how they master sliding in all the stuff they love from music history. So hard to do, so many fail.

Lost in Translation - Soundtrack

Very, very, nice CD. Love it. Listen to it while showering. I love good soundtracks.

All these CD's are available at Amazon, just so you know it.

There is one thing I have noticed lately, mostly because it is starting to freak me out.

Hidden tracks.

What's up with the hidden tracks?
You sit there all zoned out doing something and there has been silence for a while, you're maybe riding the bus even, with your walkman, and all of a sudden, there it booms at you, scaring the wits out of you: The hidden track.

Artists fond of the hidden track:
Erykah
Suade

And now there is a hidden track on this movie soundtrack.
Most artists choose to have it at the end of the album. Erykah, being more artsy than other artists, has it in the middle of hers. Pain in the arse I tell you, these hidden tracks. Damned if you have a favorite, then you have to fast forward through a lot of silence to get to it.

The hidden track on Lost in Translation is the one Bill Murray sings at the kareoke bar. The movie was a gem. Go see it.

Man, I have also seen a lot of movies I haven't written about!
Oh well, later, I have work tomorrow.

And for those of you who don't know... I am going to Iceland on the 25th. I am not to be reached there until a week later.
My clever mother decided that I was to go with her to a summer house for the first week of my trip.
Hullboy and the Just Graduated B as in Buisness Woman will be prioritized this time, as will I attend dinner at my nefiew's house. Have to see him, he has first takes because he named his firstborn after me.
Smart guy.

Amazing boyfriend man will be joining me in Iceland.
We have been together for six months now and it just gets better. I didn't think this was allowed! He spoils me rotten.
My favorite is when he buys me gadgets that enable me to become more of a computer geek.
Kinda. I have other favorites too.
My printer, that had been declared dead ove a year ago by some electrician dudes, got a new cartridge holder. This one takes a scanner cartridge. It turnes out, that when my boyfriend checked it out, there was nothing really wrong with the printer.
And now I am scanning in my dark little drawings. Seeing the first one on screen brought tears to my eyes.
Soon I will find out how to post them here.
I love that he made the effort. I love that he loves my work so much that he wants me to e-mail my drawings to him in Malasya.
My man is flying to Hong Kong tomorrow.
And when he gets back, he will fly to Iceland and sleep for the first three days.
He'll meet the parents. And the clan. And the friends.
Brave man.
Blows up helicopters.

Today's observations:

Eating left over pancakes dry gives you hickups.

Moore isn't popular with muslims who support the war in Iraq.

This year, the summer dress is to be light and airy.

I get bored when home alone for a day.

A Nazi radio station is working on becoming Denmarks biggest local commercial radio station. Looks like they are going to succeed.
Never said they were healthy in the head on this side.
It seems to me that Denmark is on the other extreme end, if the US is on one. The law here is so liberal that one can't deny the Natzis to broadcast.

Is anyone getting tired of Jim Carrey's movies?
His lates one is called "Evigt solskin i et pletfrit sind". That's the Natzi Danes for you, they translate. You better speak the language! Unless you are the Royal Family, of course, they speak French at home.

Nuff with the bitching.
I'm going over to my boyfriend's. He'll feed me.

Anyone guessed yet?

The sun is shining outside, and it is dripping inside... from my nose.
I have a cold. I'm home, sick.

Today I have hung out with a friend who has the most excellent brain in the universe.
No, not myself. This one is quite exhausted after a loooong winter, and will have a loooong summer vacation soon. Congrats on your grades, you are my hero and you deserve a medal!

The rest of the day I have spent surfing.
And the only thing I have eaten is Guldkarameller.

Okay, not quite that bad. I ate some American pancakes this morning with the boyfriend, and some chips with the Golden Toffees.

I went out today. Can't really deal with sick days, always feel that I need to use them well. So I returned a book to the library (and paid the fine) and returned a key to an office that has weird opening hours. Weird, as in normal, but during the time of day I am normally at work.

I also bought a CD, went to the pharmacy, and bought groceries.
By the time I got to the food store, I was exhausted, drenched in sweat and confused. I bought mushrooms. And rye bread. And Golden Toffees and chips.
Now how do you make a meal from that?
I guess dinner will be rye bread with butter since I ate the toffees for lunch.

I feel good, although my thighs are quite warm from the laptop, and my bottom is sore from sitting here for hours.
I have no shame.
I am so much better educated after today. I have read the world press and discovered a considerable amount about myself.
Such as:
My brain has a golden color.
That I am the 80's childhood toy Etch-a-Sketch.
And that my name acronym is a hell of a lot better than that of the girl I stole it from.

And now to dinner.

You're an Etch-a-Sketch!! You're the creative,
artsy type who doesn't need to actually utilize
a single muscle group in order to have fun.
Doesn't matter though, you're still cool.
