Have I ever told you that I love Mad TV and hope to have all seasons one day in my posession. Don't think they exist on DVD, haven't checked though.
Anyways, got reminded of this when catching miss Swan on Armann's page.
Very funny.

I also love Stuart.
Very funny.
Very very funny.

And then there is Lorraine.

See all you can of Mad TV.

I had my baby boy babtised yesterday.
All went well.
Mother and son cried through the ceremony.
Mother cried because she was moved by the event, son cried because he had to wear a dress after waiting for his father for an hour. A slight misunderstanding occured about the time schedule.

The boy is now a member of the Icelandic Church.
I am not sure if I really thought about that when I planned the baptism ... we were kinda gathering our family for one hell of a party. Althoug both parents have faith, neither has religion. It feels nice though, to have him baptised and be reminded of beautiful values.
The preast rocked, she is awesome.

There is enough food to feed an army for a couple of weeks.
Everybody pitched in.
You can't beat my family when it comes to making a party.
Everyone helped.
I did nothing but provide the boy.

I have so much gratitude today.

Wow, no post for over two weeks!

I don't even get to check my mail these days.
Reason:
Baby.

Oh, yeah, and camping.

I wanted to write a post about the camping trip we took, taking a 2 month old baby boy with us. I had found numerous witty titles to the post and composed big parts of it in my little brain.
All of that is gone now.

The boy survived fine. He came home with a cold, but the cold was possiby there before we took off.
The mother, on the other hand, got severe stress symptoms wich resulted in loss of breast milk.
This is the second time I loose the milk due to stress on this trip. The first time was after travelling over here.

Boy and mother slowly work up the milk again.
All is better now.

I still have to suck the snot out of his nose (because that is beyond the amazing abilities of my Amazing Boyfriend) but I have enough for him to drink.
Exhausted but Miss Dairy is still going.

I just want to congratulate my cool life saver friend who is too cool for even a nick name ... on this:

He's going to New York.

Skotta is still in town, and will be, like Mary Poppins, until the weather changes.

We are having a really chill time.
We have spent days in Smaralind mall.
I know, it's weird, but it's true.
We have gathered valuable tax free information.

We have eaten a lot.
We, accordingly, fart a lot.
I just thought it was a family thang, but I guess it is the Icelandic diet.
Nothing like a bit of svidasulta for the stomach.

Baby boy is blooming.
His grandma Frussa has him in her palm and he sleeps on her command.
Our two month old is doing all kinds of stuff he isn't supposed to do until two months from now.

I am to buy a dress for the baptism party.
AB's orders after someone at the wedding last weekend asked me if I had another one on the way. I politely explained that it took a while for the stomach to go back to normal after giving birth and this pregnancy dress was the only thing I could fit and breast feed in.
Poor woman felt bad, I could see it. I explained really nicely and neither one of us was rude. I didn't want her to feel bad so I didn't let her see that I got a wee bit sad.
AB noticed, hence the new dress.

Just a little update on the jeep.
We got it to Iceland in one piece.
My brother, my father, my nefiew, and AB, went and got it.
The drove around Iceland in 80 hours.
I am amazed how much the saw in this short time.
AB and my nefiew told me that they are still dreaming about the road.
Nearly 600 pictures were taken.

The jeep has Icelandic plates now and we are waiting for the dealer to get us the safety belt we need for the car to be in mint condition.
The car inspectors gave us thumbs up to drive it in Iceland so now the car is officially imported.
And it is mine.

AB keeps telling me it's mine because he always dreamt of giving a girl a car with a big bow around it.
It is a little bit hard for me to call it mine because I haven't driven it yet.
But it is mine.

So, all is well in Iceland.
