Tuesday, January 29, 2008 All of a sudden Minilla doesn't want to go to the nannies. (Nannies plural, not my bad spelling this time, three nannies, eight kids). We don't know why this is happening but it is breaking our hearts. He cries and cries when we leave. It seems he suddenly realized that we actually leave him there. How about that, two and a half months after he starts there? Up until now he has just said goodbye smiling and waiwing us. Maybe even smacking a kiss on our cheeks before we leave. All is well, otherwise. I just wanted to say hi. And now I will continue doing my laundry before I crawl into bed. Other topics I stay away from is my current job situation as I am probably being monitored by the CIA and the FBI. Both topics could fill some seriously jucy posts. And since I can't write about either I have nothing to write about at all. So, tidbits. I have a big birthday coming up. Me and AB are yearning to go to Berlin, and then Rome, but can't afford either. Silly me has taken days off for the Rome adventure but hey, loads of stuff to do around the house anyways. I have heard Rome wasn't built in a day and it certanly isn't going anywhere. Minilla got a stomach flu and threw up on his dad's leg. They were both kinda lost and surprised at the same time, the dad having only slept for two hours. Then he threw up all over the dad's sports car on the way to grandma's. A couple of days later the dad felt nauseous. I am fine so far, as I didn't have much contact with said stomach flu. I was attending my ladylike job wich required me showing up on time. This is my favorite candy: ![]() Labels: Favorites posted by Skotta | 11:26 PM |Thursday, January 10, 2008 On a more positive note, I am looking forward to tomorrow. My homegirl is picking me up after work and she is going to help me raid IKEA. She rocks my world. And then, need it, and spend a whole fucking evening looking for it!!?! Utterly, totally irritating. You see, I'm not manic or anything but I have my shit under control. When we moved, I packed 80 boxes and knew exactly what was in each and every one of them. AB could ask me; "Hey Skotta, where is the thingamajig?" and I'd answer with a number from one to eighty. Half a year later and a lot of taking out of boxes and putting in other boxes, most of those eighty boxes have been emptied out while there are a few left. Number 61 for example. But has number 61 anything in it I originally put in there? Oh no. Okay, I have just bared my autistic soul here. Still need that stuff though and can't find it anywhere. I'm sure I saw it someplace just the other day. And now I've tidied up the basement and still can't find it. Fuck. Not many Icelandic parents sit with their halfbreed in front of the TV watching TV in English. And Barbapapa in Ductch, German, and French. Wonder if he'll ever learn a proper language. Hello, this is Elmo's friend, Mr. Rober DeNiro. He is eating ice cream for dinner. There is an explanation. I'm defrosting the freezer. "Do the cabbage, do the cabbage!" Say's Elmo. I love this. Here is another one (this is for Teags and Zoƫ: Labels: Puppets posted by Skotta | 6:51 PM | |
