Monday, December 17, 2007 You are indeed faithful readers. This blog was practically dead for a month and still I got 17 hits since yesterday. SEVENTEEN. Not including myself. The only reason I noticed this is because I saw last night that my counter was crawling over the 15th thousand. This makes my blog being read close to 25 thousand times, since the moron I am managed to delete my counter when it was ninethousandsomethingorother. Anyways. Thank you for hanging in there. No news for today other than I met an older guy who I then realized is born the same year I am. That was a bit weird. I am definetly not an older woman. No, I'm a girl, I'm a girl! And todays bummer is that my Windows system is to old to support the new Sony PC suite I got with my lovely, tiny phone. That really sucks. It definetly sucks more than the older guy being my age. This just hit the spot: Labels: Miraculously no one dies posted by Skotta | 7:24 PM |Meet my new ultra cool, super thin, video-camera-phone. ![]() Since you can't really get i-phone over here yet, this was my next best option. The deal I got is actually the cheapest way I can call Iceland through a phone. The only thing cheaper is calling through the internet. I don't have any news, really. Life is just flying by. We are working quite hard and I am still getting used to the world of the working woman after a 2 year break from the field. Minilla has been sick this week so we are all quite drained. He has woken up 2 times a night on the average the whole effin week. We are all sleep deprived and thus walking on eggshells since everybody has a tendency to get cranky on a whim. Minilla is objecting to the "staying indoors for a week" by practically banging on everything he can bang on and throwing everyting loose as far as he can. Decorating the Christmas tree was maybe not the best idea this week, in hindsight. Who inventet this tradition, anyways? To hang toys all over a tree for it not to be allowed to touch? Minilla's take on it is to get a good grip on something hangin on the tree and then shaking and pulling it violently to see the whole tree jiggle. I love Christmas and I wan't lights everywhere. Minilla also loves the lights but is hating me for not letting him play with them. He is at the age where he manages to turn on the stove with you standing besides it. Quick and active. We are happy and enjoying ourselves, getting little naps wherever we can. Labels: News from the home front posted by Skotta | 4:51 PM | |
