Short info on my future travels.

I am going to Sweeden where we have a house by a little lake for a week. It rooms six people so if you want to join us you are welcome.
From there we fly to Iclend.
I should be able to be there for the birth of my niece who is due out August 5th.

Minilla emptied a box of corn flakes and a box of oatmeal on the floor and then, the neat little man he is, tried to put it back in the box.
I gently removed him and dinner from the kitchen and closed the door behind us.

All of this happened while I was on the phone with my mother.
She told me it was a blessing I was such a relaxed mother.
And that it was a further blessing it wasn't cod liver oil on the floor.
Apparently I have a brother who had a cod liver oil episode.

Miss Vacumcleaner was called upon for support after dinner.
He loved the whole thing.

We are just chilling.
My niece the kindergarten teacher would support my parenting methods. And to prove to you that it is good activity to let children play with cornflakes, read this. Mind you, he has no tea set.

Today he said eye and made an m sound for mouth. He turned 15 months 2 days ago and these are not his first words but I am a very proud mother.

Bad, bad Skotta.
Baaaad Skotta.

Way to much time between blogs.
Computer only used to pay bills these days.

I fell asleep with Minilla this evening and was awaken by a terrible thunderstorm.
Not that I found it terrible.
I love thunderstorms.

The terrible part of it is that it has been raining her for at least the past 5 weeks. And we broke up the floor in the basement to start renovating.
Ergo: We have a decent size indoors swimming pool in the basement.

The evil fact is that Iceland is having a record summer with sunshine for 5 weeks.
Everybody that knows Iceland knows that summer there usually says "drizzle, drizzle".

AB is working his arse off. He hasn't been seen here for at least a week even though we know he drops by to get a couple of hours to sleep.
And today he was off to Sweeden to work for the next 5 weeks.
I am home to take care of baby and clean up the mess my Polish and Icelandic workers have made.
And waiting for it to stop raining.

It is my turn now to pump the basement.
I feel like running away.
Chances are that I'll escape to Sweeden and maybe to Iceland again.

Well, it sounds like I'm depressed.
Not true.
Just missing my man.

Loving Minilla.
He is so funny these days.
I am one of those aweful parents that thinks everything my boy does is just fantastic and everybody should see. He hangs in my skirts a lot these days because he is not coping well with the goodbyes at the nanny's.

Time for bed.
Miss my man.
