My girl in New York sent me this link. Really funny so I had to share.
Had the sound on when I saw the link so I woke up AB who came out and said there was a strange laugh outside.

I am restless.
That is why I am up in the middle of the night although my boy is sleeping soundly. That is why I am eating something I found in the cabinet.

I think I am angry.
Just discovered that the crackers I am eating have red pepper taste.
I hate red pepper taste.
Switching them out with Noa Kropp. That has a definate chocolate taste.

Back to angry.
We definetly have to move.
I can't figure out if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
I just know that one of my options has been taken away and I like having options.
I always opt for choice rather than an ultimatum.

We wanted to buy the apartment next doors to ours and break down the walls between them. The people in the house came close to call us capitalist pigs but are willing to okay it on these conditions:
I would buy the other apartment and it would be in my name so they are still registrered as two apartments. We would get special permission to break down the wall between the apartments. If or when we move away, the apartments have to be seperated again.

What this means for us is that there have to be two kitchens and two bathrooms. We would not be registred as a couple living together (which is illegal when you are actually a couple living together). We would have to buy two insurances instead of one. Two gas meters, two electric meters.

The funny thing is that the type of co-op system we are living in was made so that people who had little or no money could still buy a place. For us, buying this apartment possible meant that we could afford another child. The way it looks now we are forced out of the house. At least, if we stayed, our monthly expences regarding the roof over our heads would be the same as if we bought our own place.

So tomorrow we are looking at a flat.

Baby boy lies on the floor playing.
All of a sudden old enough to play.
Mommy picks the sound track to his games.
Eventually he yawns inbetween the cooing noises.

Mommy suddenly remembers the call that woke her up this morning.
A person introducing themselves insisting that they were not trying to sell her anything. If she would be so sweet to receive some washing detergent for free. Just pay porto. Porto paid back if she purchased anything later. Where could the nice Not-A-Sales-Lady tell the post man to leave the box if the mommy wasn't home?

Damn, I fell in.
Blame it on being asleep.
Blame it on the sundhedsplejerske telling her to get free testers of baby food to learn what baby boy likes.
Brain just got "Get free testers". Still can't make brain sort things out for real.

I take pride in defending my home from sales people. I am especially good at this because AB, as a business owner, gets millions of these calls.

How I love being home.

Boy has been vaccinated and will not get polio.
Boy got 1st bottle last night and mom got 6 hours sleep for the first time in months.
Lovely.
The extra little sip he is getting from the bottle should result in longer periods between breast feeding.
Lovely.
I have been breast feeding every second hour for close to 4 months now ... apart from the nights.

Enough of my boy's eating habits.

Iceland was fantastic.
We wen't camping twice and we threw a big arse party for our boy.
Party was way to short but it was great anyway. Loads of food.

Loads of presents.
Thank you everyone.
I will be making a list of the books and CD he now has for future reference.

I have to say this.
We would have never been able to celebrate our boy in this manner if it wasn't for the fantastic help I got. Everybody pitched in with cakes and food and the kids were amazing helping me set up. It was so beautiful.

I am especiall impressed with the kids in my family. These young people make me so proud. I hope I can teach my boy the same values as his cousins charish. The were so helpful and enjoying it.

Writing this from Keflavik airport, on my way home.
Love those hot spots.
I will be home for a week and then off to Bornholm for two weeks.
No internet connection in Bornholm.

I can't wait to spend some time in my own little space although it was very hard to leave this time. I am going back to Iceland after Bornholm so enjoy my posts this week ... and then some in September.

I know it's corny but I love my baby.
I had this really funny thing going on with the baby kissing me. "Look mum," I said to my mother, "I have a baby stuck to my face!"
Not as funny when I saw the huge hicky he made.

Little boy is teething, believe it or not.
Two small ones downstairs.
I am breastfeeding for at least three more months.
Ouch.
